• Founded in 1993 when a group of employers, physicians, and organized labor banded together to control rising health care costs.

• Our goal is to provide employers in the region with quality health care plans at manageable premiums.

• We operate in seven counties: PA—Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Lawrence, and Mercer and in OH—Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana.

• We have approximately 418 employer member groups and 13,381 covered members.

• The Penn-Ohio is non-profit.

• Our board members are committed local employers.
